been going to brunei three weeks in a row

I'm cleaning up my room now - yay!

Queen of procrastinating!! SIGH!

I got the hiccups four bloody times today! Maybe something's wrong with me. It was all really funny though. I got it first in church. So totally embarrassing!! My hiccups are always embarrassingly loud, for one. When I started having them, people kept turning around to see what was making that awful noise! Hahahaha. ME!! Then I was still having it when I went up to receive holy communion. Hahahahahaha!! Bodoh!! Then in the middle of saying prayers.. very loudly, I will go HIC!! making my cousins all laugh. Then in the middle of giggling I will HICCUP!! and there we go all over again. Vicious cycle!

My cousin said, "Cis. People so concentrated on praying already and then suddenly cannot think! It's like.. ring ring... ring ring... ring ring... I'm sorry. Your call has been disconnected. Please try again later. No time even for the other person to pick up!"

Second time during breakfast. Eeeps. Thank goodness Yakin is a very noisy place! Third time when I was in the car on the way to Supa Save (Yes, I went to Brunei, again.) and the boys laughed at me. Evil beings they certainly are! And the fourth was just not too long ago. My dad says if I get the hiccups a lot, it might mean that there's something wrong with my diaphragm. He says I should go see a doctor. Grr.

Anyways, the reason why I went up to Brunei today was because Iqbal invited me for lunch at Escapade, tempting me with tales about the 100 dollar sushi boat filled with every single sushi that they served at that restaurant.

Went up with.. Iqbal, Mark, Alywin, Roger, John, and Kelvin. Didn't hear a peep out of Kelvin at all. First time meeting him and all. Maybe he didn't know anyone else there at all? First, pictures of people that were there! Except for one guy - Roger. Didn't have any good pictures of him.

do the locomotion
Iqbal (the one who invited me) dunno talking about what. So I made it up.

behold mighty sony
I think they might've been trying to take some picture. Guy in green is Kelvin and guy in grey is John. Hehehehe. No need to see their faces la.. cos I dunno them very well so don't want to post their pics up.

weird faces
Left is Alywin. Right is again, Iqbal. So funny I accidentally caught them making the same kind of face when I snapped them.

lovey dovey couple
The lovey dovey couple, Mark and Kim. Yuck.

50 dollars
We ordered the party set. Sushi and sashimi - 50 dollars.

10 cents
The aftermath! You can always count on boys to finish. Hehe.

mark is too happy
Mark acting all happy now that his belly is full.

kim at escapade
After I was done eating. But I admit I didn't eat much. Cos I had quite a number of dim sum from breakfast. Not done digesting! But I did enjoy the food.

camwhore spotted in the vicinity
I wonder who this was.

After Escapade, we dropped by Seria Plaza to tapau some Jollibee for some friends back home. Then went window shopping for a videocam, shoes, and sunglasses. Then went to have some ice-cream at Dairy Queen. I can't believe those boys managed to finish a Regular sized blizzard!

Then we went to Super Save - I bought lamb cutlets, steak, and mushrooms. Haha. Doing my mother's bidding. Then Mark and I had kebabs. Non-stop eating, ok! I can't resist good food!!

drive back
On the drive back. From my point of view.

pretend
Teruk. I was playing around trying to take a picture of me with him sleeping - turns out he was pretending!

sunny
The hot afternoon sun - 5.13pm

And lastly! An excerpt from a chat I was having with my cousin. After showing him pictures of food from lunch!! Muahahaha..

PS. I ended up blogging instead of cleaning my room. Sigh.

kota kinabalu trip slideshow

Kota Kinabalu.. In a nutshell.

I haven't blogged completely about my KK trip and I don't think I will. So I made a slideshow (using Windows Movie Maker *sad*) using the pictures we all took. I got tired of waiting for the videos that we took using Hazman's video cam to be sent to us. I made this slideshow actually weeks ago. And only just last week on Thursday did I get the videos that were actually supposed to have been sent to us four months ago. Hmph.

Day 1 - Here.

Day 2 - Hazman brought Wani and I to the Heritage Village. Wiena wasn't with us cos she stayed at a hotel the previous night. Went to the village in the morning. The most interesting there was the lamparan which was very very cool. It was a feature in the Murut House, if I'm not mistaken. The lamparan is like an indoor trampoline. The Murut House is like a long house, but in the middle of the common area, there is a trampoline built into the floor. Their trampoline is made out of ratan and bamboo. What the Murut people do is that they have a special occasion where the men and ladies of the house jump on the lamparan and try as hard as they can to reach something that they would hang from the rafters of the house - like a pinata. It's pretty cool cos you can jump really high on that thing. Sweet. I walked out of that house planning my future house around having a lamparan in it as well.

That night we planned to have a BBQ. The BBQ which was supposed to have started at 5pm, only started at 10pm. Can you imagine?? Everyone planned to meet up by 5pm by the beach. Hazman, Wani and I decided to drop by a bit late because we won't be the ones bringing anything important. And also since Hazman said it's alright cos we were still at the Heritage Village. BUT. We ended up being the first people there. We were ready by 6pm! The other guys all decided to come only at 9pm. And the cooking only started at 10pm. The eating at 11pm. These bunch of guys are really the worst at being on time. Four hours late, ok!! (I don't advise any of you girls to date these guys) By the end of the night, I probably only had two chicken wings because I was starving but it took so long for them to cook the food, plus - it rained on us. Also, they cooked so little on their first batch that we had to wait again for the second batch to be done. Pfft.

Day 3 - This cast includes: Hazman, Wani, Wiena, Halim, and I. Today we drove up to Kundasang - which is someplace high enough for you to touch the clouds. Dropped by a little restaurant on our way up - we were the only patrons there. The weather was cool. Dropped by a golf course (starting with Wani and her red umbrella). Wow. I can't imagine people driving up there just to play golf. No wait.. Actually, I can. Golf fanatics can be quite crazy. Then we visited the Mersilau Resort (starting with Halim and his camera). It was a really nice place. It was gorgeous. Maybe one of you guys can try going there someday. I like the string of pictures where we were all laughing at something. Maybe Wiena cos she's the only one not laughing.

Btw, we ran into some car trouble on the way up where there was smoke coming from the tyres and we had to remain calm and smell the smell of burning rubber for days after. It was scary and I was really worried. We were almost in the middle of nowhere. But we survived - hurrah.

We dropped by a nursery on our way down to look at flowers. Wow. We sound so old! Looking at flowers?? Hahahahaha!

Then we went to another touristy place (starting with Hazman and I sitting together). I forgot what that place was but we stopped by there to get a drink. By then, most of us had hands turning white - especially me. But it was only cos I went to use the bathroom and washed my hands - the horror!! Hahaha. They didn't have warm water and the cold water was freezing. Plus, the fact that it was raining on and off didn't help. Isn't Halim so very cute posing like a cute little chinese girl with the peace signs? Bluek! Hahahahaha.

We also stopped the car by the road on our way back to look at the clouds (starting with Hazman sort of looking at his car door). They were so near it was so cool. One of the most memorable moments:

Wiena: Oh, so nice!! Cannot see anything!! (referring to the clouds all around us)
Me: *very sarcastically* Oh, so nice... cannot see anything...
Everyone: Hahahahahahaha..
Hazman: Good one, Kim!

Hahaha. Poor Wiena!! I didn't mean to mock her though. That's just how I am. That was like a reflex with me. Later that night, we went to the Colourball the pool parlour we went to one our first night (starting sidewalk with turtles). Very cute turtles, btw. Of course we played pool, just that I didn't include any picture of us doing that tonight. And that last picture of day 3 is of Hazman and Awang - our two lovebirds. Hahahahahaa!!

They're straight. Just very good friends. They're such good friends that they sit and hug and act all gay in public. Ew. These people are very weird. It's not only these two but it's almost all of them. They all like to act gay with one another. Throughout my entire trip there it was almost like watching some soap opera with all the love triangles that exist between these guys. But it was hilarious anyway. Hahahaha!

Day 4 - Yay! We finally went island hopping!! We almost didn't make it because of those boys. *rolls eyes* Want to do this and do that but always tak jadi because why? Because they're so bad at planning and they're always late. This was our second last day in KK and we were already leaving tomorrow afternoon so it was great that we managed to go. All thanks to Wani, who forced Awang to bring us! Yay, Wani!! Cast and crew for this segment: Me, Sanjit, Awang, Halim, Wiena, and Wani.

The harbour was scary! Even before we parked the car, there were people trying to pull us into going to the islands with them. All of them were competing for our money. But it was really distressing. One guy actually ran after our car to be the first to us. Lucky Hazman was there. Sigh. If not, us three girls.. dunno how la. Anyway, I didn't like that experience.

We went to three islands: Sapi Island, Mamutik Island, and Manukan Island. I'm impressed with my own memory. Hahahahaha!! The ride was fun, the wind in your hair, and the sea spray all around you. Hahaha. But the boat was scary. The floor seemed very fragile and soft. Everytime we hit a wave, the floors on our boat would compress upward. OMG. By the time we reached Sapi, my hair was soaking wet and I looked awful. Haha.

At Sapi we went on the trail. Apalah.. who the heck goes to the island and does tracking?? Hahahaha. We didn't expect the trail to be so long but for me it was fun!! I know some people didn't like it though. *cough* Wiena *cough* We saw a huge hermit crab. Call us suckers. We wasted quite some time on the trail. There's a funny picture of both Wani and I camwhoring in the middle of the forest though. Hahaha. At the end of the trail, we were so relieved. There were also these huge ass monitor lizards near the end of the trail. And I alsolutely despise lizards!!!! And these guys were huge... so disgusting. Yuck. I couldn't stand it. The rest of them were all taking videos and pictures of it - I ran away. :( Poor Awang. He got this huge splinter in his toe. Our resident doctor took care of that (Sanjit). We all went into the sea - yay. Everyone ended up going into the sea. Haha! Dunno why they all said that they didn't want to at first. So I went lah by myself and everyone ended up joining me. Yay me. After that, we left to Mamutik.

At Mamutik (starting at: omigosh it's back) I got pretty sick and had to use the toilet. The toilet was MY GOODNESS FUCKING AWFUL MOST DISGUSTING PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO EVER.
There was SHIT EVERYWHERE!! Gross awful to the max. Shit on the floor, on the bowl, on the FUCKING WALLS. The sink. Like, WTF WTF WTF. But I was desperate and had to bear with it. I surprised myself by being able to tahan my vomit!!!!! Anyway, all we did at Mamutik was have lunch. Then we left again. There's nothing much at this island.

Manukan (starting with the pier) was nice with the sand and all. But I didn't swim much here. I couldn't. All the rocks and coral beneath my feet and everywhere was crazy. It hurt me soooo much I ended up giving up and leaving Wani, Wiena, and Halim to their play and joining Awang and Sanjit in the sand. The nutcases - Awang and Sanjit - were playing race cars in the sand. Pretending to drive cars, turn corners, slamming on the accelerator/brake, and making drifting noises. Strange people.

Soon, Wiena, Wani, and Halim joined us. So we all played sand together!! And we built a really special sandcastle. Hahahhahaa. So stupid. A lot of people were going by watching us. One malay lady commented, "Wah.. these kids are really having fun ah..." and there was this one guy who picked up two little fruits(?) and handed it to us saying that we should use them as nipples. So we did. Hahaha. It wasn't long after that that we had to leave though. How sad. It felt like such a short time that we spent at the islands. Next time, we'll do better!!

And that night, well.. look under Friday, 29th June 2007. Aww. They were so sweet!!

Day 5 - We came home the previous night at 3am and slept at 4am. Actually, we've been doing that everynight we've been in KK. Wiena says that I was drunk this night cos I kept talking and laughing to myself. I swear I wasn't!! I was just checking off my list of things to pack. Hahahaha. And laughing at myself for it didn't take long for me to pack. Maybe only 10 minutes. I was amazed at myself at the time. But I guess I might have been a little bit drunk lah. Cos I kept falling over myself. Oh yes, maybe that's why I was laughing too. Hahaha! I kept trying to sit on the floor but kept on falling on my back. Stupid me. Anyway, had the best sleep that night. Lol. Knocked out cold as soon as I was lying vertically on the bed. Hahaha.

Woke up early that morning again to get ready. I was the only one in the house who kept waking up first. And really early. Leaving me with nothing to do sometimes. Funny right? We all slept only at 4am but I always got up at 7-8am. Nuts.

Another funny thing that happened on this trip was that the night before we were gonna fly to KK, Wani called me to tell me to pack band-aids because she had run out. I've never packed band-aids or a first aid kit with me when I travel (bad Kimmy!). I didn't expect that we would actually be using them but I packed them anyway. What's funny was that every single day that we were in KK, at least one new person got a cut or something that required my band-aids. Hahaha. So funny, ok! Yes, people getting hurt is hilarious. Haha.

And that was it.

The End. :)

iconic kiasu behavior

After seeing Wani's oh so many nice drawings (talented she definitely is) using paint for her blog, I was tempted to try also. But I'm not very good at it. Then Halim started drawing too. So geramlah. How come he can do and I can't? Anything he can do I can do better mar. Hahaha!

Kidding, Halim! I will forever fail at peeing standing up, ok?

Yes! Was done using paint! Finally settled on this one after soooo many attempts at getting a close to decent picture. Hahaha. But Wani will forever be queen of drawing cartoons of hilarious daily situations using paint. *bows to Wani*

Don't forget to check her blog out. She just posted some new drawings! Hilarious, as usual.

something decent
Example of failure.

PS. I don't see myself drawing on paint again anytime soon.

traveling = tension

Oh man oh man oh man. Okay. Breathe. Erm. Hello. I'm leaving for Singapore in the morning. Yeah, totally last minute. I know. I just decided to go over at like, 3pm. And an hour later I'm buying the tickets to leave tomorrow morning. I haven't packed. And I'm feeling very stressed. Like, why am I doing this to myself. Why am I such a lousy impulsive person. Why did my mom let me go? Why couldn't she have said no?

Erm. Sorry Wani and Halim.. I know we already made plans to play Nintendo Wii tomorrow morning but the reasons why I'm going is:

  1. See my cousin off before she leaves to Canada.
  2. Attend my grandfather's memorial.
  3. See babies.

Sorry again, Wani. Won't be around next week either so I don't know if you would still like to sit in on my management lecture without me being around. Argh. Sorry I have to abandon everyone like this. Ha ha. Not like anyone will miss me though.

But I will surely miss everyone back home. And feel guilty for splurging so.

Also, congrats to Wani's cat for popping out the finally ready buns. Hahaha! As in, for laying the kittens. Lol. Won't be able to see them as icky, red and naked worms but I don't think I'll be missing out on much for just missing that stage. Cos they quite frankly gross me out. Please don't lose these bunch of kitties again.

kimmy's birthday

kim2007
... was over a month ago! Oh well. Kimmy is the girl who owns this particular blog, by the way. Oh. And she has finally turned 21! But the poor girl is still such a kid. She doesn't know how to wear makeup (poor thing) nor how to walk in heels (tsk tsk). But ah.. she's such a sweet kid who loves to make people laugh. She called her boyfriend earlier tonight and she managed to make him laugh for a whole hour. She felt really lovable and good about making someone happier.

But that's not what this post is supposed to be about! It's about Kim finally turning the much over hyped number 21! How she finally turned 21 may not be how she dreamt it up to be but it was nonetheless not any less special than what she managed to dream up for herself. I lied. If things had gone the way she dreamt it up to be, her own wedding would've been a book club meeting in comparison.

How she dreamt it up to be in her own mind:
She flies all her friends out to some spectacular hotel or resort where they will stay a total of 3 days, 2 nights, having fun. On one of the nights will be her super mega huge birthday bash. Fantastic foods such as chicken wings will be served (lol). She obviously wasn't thinking too much about food. Also great drinks will be served.. to get people drunk. Muahahaha. Then the highlights of the night would be performances from Panic! At the Disco, The Academy Is, and Anberlin. And they are all there only for her!! And everyone will have a blast and dance and party the night away. Hehe.

She's so cute when she dreams, no? Also, she wanted to have her party guests wearing only white so that she'd stand out in the crowd by wearing a different colour. Although she isn't so much an extrovert, since it was to be a special day/night, she doesn't mind being the center of attention. I think she might actually secretly be an extrovert. I don't know!

How things actually went:
Was by no means any less special! For one, she felt like her birthday lasted an entire week! Because everyday since she got back from Kota Kinabalu, there have been occurrences which in one way or another had something to do with her birthday!

It was Kim and her friends' last night in KK. Earlier that day, they had a blast island hopping. They were tired, but they still managed to go out again that night as they have done every night since being in KK. Tonight they headed out to Thai Cafe to meet up with the guys who have by then become what you could call good friends because of the bond that occurred from spending almost every single day and night for the past week with them.

Kim, the poor innocent girl, was not expecting anything to happen other than to hang out one last time with everyone before having to head back to Miri the next day. There she was innocently sitting at the tables, drinking her third glass of beer, when she felt a presence sneaking up from behind her.

cake
She turned around and saw her friend, Hazman, hovering behind her holding something in his hands. She was so blur that it took awhile for her to even figure out that it was a birthday cake. What with it having candles on it and all. Then she wondered whose birthday was it they were celebrating. Oh, the poor thing, I tell you! Then he finally set the cake down in front of her and it was then that it hit her like a truck hitting a baby kitten.

She hopes that she didn't look like she was acting, she wasn't. But she had her mouth covered with her hands from the shock. Haha. Of course, there was the singing of the birthday song, the wishing, the blowing of the cake, and the cutting. Then the distributing and the devouring.

people

Unfortunately, she did not take much pictures that night. No idea why. No one else did either. I think everyone just forgot.

Saturday, 30th June 2007
The little gathering they had the previous day carried on till 3am on this day (does it still count?) and at the end of it, she ended up quite tipsy or drunk. But even if she was, she couldn't tell. She remembers always ending up on her back when she tries to sit though. Which was hilarious and kept making her laugh. I think she was talking a bit more too although she denies that it was the alcohol talking.

There were reports later that morning that she was talking to herself while packing her luggage that night but she was only reading off her checklist to see if she had anything left out! She talks to herself all the time anyway so it shouldn't be anything special or new.

Also, as Kim and her friends were all at the airport, about to go into the departure lounge, she got more hugs and birthday wishes from the guys. Aww. Feel the love! And when they had finally landed in Miri airport, he boyfriend was there to surprise her and to welcome her home. Awww... He had driven all the way to the airport just to greet her! So feeling the love!!

Sunday, 31st June 2007
Mark, her sweet bumbling boyfriend, surprised our main character with a birthday present. She's so easily surprised, isn't she. She also opened her present on this day despite saying that she would wait for her real birth date to roll on by.

Monday, 1st July 2007
The gang that Kim traveled to KK with came over that night. Initially only to trade pictures. Then it started getting late so everyone decided to stay back and wait to midnight. Countdown to my birthday! =)

Kim's actual birthday! Her family decided to use her as an excuse to travel up to Brunei. Or maybe they actually thought that she would enjoy a trip up to Brunei. These are the boys sitting in the back. They're lousy with staying up during road trips.

Kim's family drove all the way up to bandar. Dropped by the mall. Went to Dome for brunch! Kim couldn't decide what to order for herself and was torn between ordering this breakfast set which has bacon, scrambled eggs, and toast... or ordering spaghetti carbonara. Haha.

arab
But they said that since it was her birthday that she could order both. While waiting for her food to arrive, Kim played around with the camera and took this shot. What you can't see is that their waiter was standing right next to her when this shot was taken.

shoooos
After brunch, they went into The Mall to shop. There was an IT expo going on so Kimmy bought herself an FM Modulator so she could listen to her mp3s in her car. She would've much rather have gotten a new sound system though. Who wouldn't?

But the purchase of the day had to go to Kim's sister who bought herself a pastel blue Nintendo DS. Funny since it wasn't even her birthday. Oh well, Kim.. better luck next time. At least you also bought a pair of slippers Charles and Keith, right? Not only one purchase but two.

me
Later that night, Kim and her family went down to Esplanade for some Japanese. Too bad for Kim, she ate too much at Dome earlier that morning that by night time, she was still too full to have enjoyed pigging out on cheap (compared to Miri's prices) Japanese food. Mark, Kim's boyfriend, joined them for dinner. I would like to believe that she was happy to have seen him that night.

nothx
Maybe not so.

Earlier, Kim's brother bought her a little white teddy bear in a supermarket that came with a little black marker for everyone to write their birthday wishes on for her. Aww. Everyone that was there wrote her a little message for her to remember. Someone drew a mustache. She is yet to figure out who.

Wednesday, 3rd July 2007
Kim had a last minute birthday party where everything just happened to happen. Everything was last minute, the cake, the preparation, the food, the invites, everything. Her aunt curled her hair with some curling tongs. She was apprehensive about it, of course, never having had curly hair before but since it's some sort of "special" day, as her aunts put it, she decided to give it a go.

Our heroine wasn't very fond of the outcome though. Maybe she just needed time to get used to her new hairstyle. Oh well.

lousy

Oh and guess what? Our girl was lucky enough to have her boyfriend make a trip back down to Miri as well just to celebrate her birthday again. Aww. Lucky girl.

kiss

Then there were others who managed to make it as last minute as it all was and brought gifts too. Kim told me to mention that she says thanks to everyone. She really wasn't expecting to be given any gifts. In fact, she's forgot that day that people gave presents on birthdays. Lousy girl.

sum ppls

other cake
She also got the prettiest birthday cake she's ever gotten. Even as a child she never got such a pretty cake and now only at 21, does she get one such as this. It's really funny if you think about it. Unfortunately, it was a normal cake that concentrated more on looking pretty than tasting great but that did not deter people from finishing it until there was only a quarter of it left. Thank goodness too because she was afraid that most of it would've gone to waste considering its size too.

Unfortunately that night didn't go without its misfortunes. There was a terrible so-called accident which caused cake to end up on other people. Here are some of the unfortunate but luckily still alive and breathing casualties.

And you thought our birthday girl was safe? Not with the kind of friends that she has, she is never safe.

i managed to title and organise my ramblings! just look!

Pay me attention! I'm a lonely and neglected child! Hehe.

Did anyone even notice that my blog looked different? I finally upgraded to the new blogger. I've been too lazy to relearn how to code with the new blogger but I finally decided to give it a go. Turned out to not be so different from the old blogger after all! Managed to code everything in just a few minutes.

Okay, so I didn't code everything.. I just tweaked the original blogger codes.

OMG. What's this?? I just noticed an extra button on the blogger toolbar that looks like a filmstrip. OooooooooooooooOOOooo... *click* *click* *click click click!* Nothing happened! I guess they're still working on it. Wow. Soon we can just upload our videos straight to blogger! No need to go through YouTube anymore.

Oh. Turns out it was just slow. It finally managed to load up. Sweet. I'm uploading a little home video just to test this thing out.

(There was an error uploading my video. Boo.)

Trouble sleeping..

Anyways, I've been having trouble sleeping. Haven't been able to enjoy my sleep in what feels like a long time now. And I've been having quite disturbing dreams. I told Mark once about what one of them was and he just laughed at me. Argh!

You know: sex dreams. But it doesn't mean that I had to have sex. It could just be me being with someone other than Mark. Yeah, that's the disturbing bit. That it's always someone else. Not gonna say who! It's too embarrassing. Hehe. What do these dreams even mean anyhow? It's not like I have any feelings for these people in real life and it was not even like they were on my mind but they still manage to creep into my dreams.

Kimmy makes narrow escape from the creepy clutches of Chimney boy!

On Monday, I had an awful time for one of my lectures. I wanted to be alone that day so I sat by myself. This other guy, whom I barely converse/socialize with decided today that he would come sit next to me. The reason I wanted to be left alone in the first place was because I wasn't feeling very well that day.

And this guy, he's literally a walking chimney. Smoker who smokes WAY too much. Every other time you would see him out of class, he would be smoking. And I have NO idea what he smokes. What brand he smokes. Cos he smelt horrible. Really really bad. I didn't know what to do! I didn't want to seem rude and walk off. I couldn't tell him that to go away from me.

But he did smell seriously awful. I have other friends who smoke but at least I can stand being around them. This guy, he smelt a hundred times worse! He must be smoking 24/7. Smokes as soon as he gets up in the morning.. and then probably doesn't brush his teeth, and then continues throughout the day to smoke shit. Haha.

Okay. It's NO laughing matter. I was getting really sick and nauseous. I kept on messaging Robert and Mark to distract myself from him but also to discourage him from talking to me. And everything he would talk and ask me a question, I would give him a one word/syllable answer.

"No."
"Yeah."
"Thursday."

But I don't think he understands!!! How can you be so thick to not get it when someone does not want to talk to you?? I'm pretty sure that my face also reads disgust! I happen to wear my emotions on my face. You can really tell what's going on in my mind by just looking at me. Unless I try to hide it. But that day, not feeling well, feeling nauseous, barely able to breathe, I didn't bother hiding.

Halfway through the lecture, which was an hour later, our lecturer gave us a break, I was so thankful. I grabbed some of my things and proceeded outside to get some fresh air. I felt like I haven't been breathing properly for the past hour! But, oh gawd, chimney boy followed me out.

I messaged Robert to come meet me cos chimney boy is afraid of Robert. Hahaha. So as soon as he saw Robert walking in our general direction, he quickly made an excuse to go off somewhere.

Now, usually chimney boy would come in to class only to sign attendance and then he would leave. I was so hoping that he would not break that little tradition of his. So when Robert offered to sit in in my lecture with me just in case chimney came back, I told him thanks but I didn't think he would be coming back.

But he did! So I quickly messaged Robert and then it was Robert to the rescue! Robert came in and came up to where I was sitting. I scooted over so that Robert would have to sit in between chimney and I. After a few minutes to trying to bare it, chimney couldn't stand it anymore and went back up to sit all by his lonesome.

Later that night, I told Mark more about it. (Mark thinks he's a creep. I do too. Well, he is creepy.) And he said that he ever tried to do anything stupid, to not hit like a girl. *rolls eyes*

Oh, how I would LOVE to be a rockstar!!

Who wouldn't?

30 Seconds to Mars - The Kill. In this video, we can see the ever handsome Jared Leto. Sigh. Oh, and try to spot Spongebob! When he climbs up the scaffolding and addresses the crowd, swoon, that's the best part.

Put in a dash of Velvet Revolver performing Slither.. see Scott Weiland in action. It's so unfair that he manages to fit into pants that I'm sure are smaller than mine! This performance of theirs was only so-so but I just want you guys to see Scott and his pants.

And here, we have Stone Sour with Through Glass. There are boobies in this video. Haha. Oh yes, you know you're a rockstar when you get flashed by boobies while you're performing. Can't wait for it to happen to me. Lol!

Yay for Curtin students! It's the tuition free week! Have a great weekend!

curtin carnival and two boys birthdays

Since I feel very much like slacking tonight.. I guess I would blog about my weekend.

I woke up late on Saturday. At about 10am. Okay, so it's not that late by teen standards but I felt like it was late since lately I've been having to wake up at 8am for classes.. actually.. 7am to get ready for classes but I've been running late this whole entire week. I don't know what's wrong with me. I keep waking up later than planned and being so very deaf to my morning alarms. Sleeping right through them and all.

Ah, anyways, I was practically like a blob that didn't get enough sleep when I woke up although I think I did. So I slittered around the place before taking my shower at 12pm. Hee.

Mom brought my siblings and I out for lunch since I didn't have any breakfast. We all went to Grand Palace Hotel for some dimsum which we didn't get to finish because halfway through the meal, my little sister threw up. Yups. She has been sick the whole week. Poor thing. Lucky thing though. I managed to fill myself up before we had to leave.

Sent my two siblings home then went out again to get the cars washed. My mom and I anyway. Urgh. It took them so long to finish washing the cars. I felt like I was gonna lose my mind. My head started spinning because I couldn't take sitting there any longer. Yes, I'm someone who fidgets around a lot because I don't like staying in one place for long periods of time.

Although the hours I spend in front of the computer says otherwise. Ha!

Anyways, I was supposed to pick up my brother and my cousin after I got the car washed at 3pm. I went to get the cars washed at 2pm. But they only finished washing the cars at 3.40pm.

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

So, rushed to pick the both of them up and rushed right to Curtin. From the carpark, I could hear a song that my friend, Derek's, band was playing. And I promised him that I would be there to record his performance so that he could send the videos to his girlfriend. He would be playing the bass. Mweh. First time ever seeing him perform in public.

Anyways, good thing was that they only just started. It wasn't a very bad performance, btw. Pretty good too actually if compared to other bands that have played in the past for the carnival.

My good friend, Derek, whom we always make fun of for looking like a chinese pop star. Muahaha.

And you know what he said? "Wah! Kim! You're wearing a skirt lah. Come come. Must take picture this!" and then he turns to a friend standing beside me, "Eh, you know ah.. this girl.. very rarely wears skirt! Help help take picture for me." :D "Hehehe."

There was another performance after that by the Otaku Club president which got me going: ~_~

Man. That girl is delusional. The Otaku Club is a new club in Curtin of which consists of members that are crazy about manga, anime, cosplay and the like.

Aaron first told me about her when he said that she came over during orientation week to introduce the club to the new students. During her presentation, she put on a false anime voice which Aaron said, scared him. I don't blame him. And then he said that at one point during her presentation, the person who was helping with the slides forgot his cue and didn't change it.

So at that moment, she turned around, and said in her normal voice in a garang way for him to change the slide. And then when she turned about around, she became all animated again. Whoa. How fake is that? :D

No offense to other Otaku Club members. I showed Mark later that night the video I took of her performance and all, he told me that he knows that girl cos she was new the time he was a SOAR Advisor and said that she doesn't really think much before she speaks or acts which is I guess the reason for her being deluded. :D

I'm SO mean. *punches air* But at least I didn't put up a picture, mmmkay?

Didn't stay long because I had a dinner to attend later that night. What's the occasion you ask? The celebration of two birthday boys. One of them being Mark. The other being my dad.

Yes, shocked? Hahahaha. Their birthdays are only a day apart too.

Gah. The coincidence. My mom decided to arrange a special dinner for the both of them. People present were, my family, cousin Greg's family, and Mark.

Things said over dinner:

Cousin Greg: Why is a suckling pig called a suckling pig ah?
Dad: Because the pig is young and is taken away as it is still at its suckling stage.
Cousin Greg: Oh. Then why is pecking duck called pecking duck leh? Its taken away when its at its pecking stage? Heh heh heh..

Mark: Eh, what if it's called pecking pig and suckling duck?
Kim: ??? Can pigs peck and ducks suck?? *duh*

Mark: How do you tell the difference between a female and male catfish?
Cousin Greg: The females don't have misai!
Everyone: -_-"

Suckling pig.

Pekking duck.

When the food came out, everyone whipped out their camera phones and started taking pictures.

Oh gawd. Sakai lalu. :D

Anyways, this is Mark and I later that night.

He doesn't like being kissed.

I don't like being kissed
and poked.

Aren't we
tres adowable? Hee.
