real pontianak video

WARNING: The following post may contain materials that would cause sleepless nights, nightmares, a degrading night life, and lower suicide rates. Do not proceed with this blog entry if you are easily scared. But do watch it at night. It's more fun that way. But seriously, this is a real video. Please DO proceed with caution.

The video was also taken sideways. (Don't blame me.) So watch it with your head tilted to your right.

This video was taken by my cousin's uncle. The story behind it goes a little like this:

My uncle is in the special ops and they were operating in Tawau. One night, he and nine other guys were on their way to a small village. It was dark. They came to a bridge where they saw and heard a lady that was standing at the top of the bridge, sobbing. She was wearing a white dress.

They way she sobbed was not human. She was a pontianak. So, this group of guys all whipped out their mobile phones and started either taking videos or pictures of this creature with their phone cameras.

After awhile, the creature started flying about in an attempt to attack them. This was when they decided to stop taking videos and run for it. Even when you're in the special ops, you have nothing against the supernatural.

It was rumoured that at that same bridge, an Indonesian lady had jumped and killed herself and her unborn baby. She came back that night to look for her unborn child.

A pontianak is what is known to Malaysian folklore or legend as a female vampire. They are usually spawned when they happen to die with an unborn child. It happens when they are killed, they they commit suicide, or just die naturally; and then later return as pontianaks to try find their unborn child but if they cannot do that, they will instead attempt to steal someone else's.
